PEER IL Urges Governor to Invest in Equitable Education for All Illinois Children

Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights co-leads the Partnership for Equity and Education Rights Illinois (PEER IL) coalition with Raise Your Hand for Illinois Public Education and other members.

Today, the PEER IL coalition released a statement after the governor’s budget address. Read the full statement here. PEER IL urges Governor Pritzker to invest accordingly in the Evidence Based Funding (EBF) formula, well beyond the minimum amount he touted today, which is already mandated by Illinois state law.
