Federal Court Bestows Awards for Excellence on Chicago Lawyers' Committee Volunteer Lawyers 06/01/2009

On May 29, 2009 the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, gave an Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service to Richard Marcus of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, James Condon of Central States Health, Welfare & Pension Funds, Ed Fox of Ed Fox & Associates, and Kate Grossman of Sidley Austin. These volunteer attorneys provided exceptional service to indigent parties through the Settlement Assistance Program.
